The Kid Country Playground Committee is hoping the odds are in its favor and the Casino Night Auction Fundraiser will have a good turnout.

The public is invited to attend a Casino Night fundraiser event from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on April 28 at the Coppell Senior and Community Center, which will raise funds to help rebuild the city's Kid Country playground.

The event will include table games, Texas Hold 'em, a cash bar and appetizers. There will also be silent and live auctions for guests to participate in.

Anyone who is interested in attending can purchase tickets for $30 at www.kidcountry2012.com or for $40 at the door on the night of the event.

The Kid Country Playground Committee is currently trying to raise funds and procure donations to rebuild the playground, which is scheduled to be torn down in October 2012.
