Police officers from throughout the state and nation will be coming to Coppell for a motorcycle competition that's being hosted Thursday through Saturday.

The public is invited to attend the 4th Annual Coppell Police Motorcycle Competition, which will begin at 8 a.m. each day from March 29-31 at Wagon Wheel Park.

At the competition, which is free to attend, police motor officers will compete in timed events. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a custom bike show, which will be judged by local celebrities, and a silent auction, featuring items such as hotel stays, autographed sports memorabilia and a weekend rental of a Jaguar.

Money raised by the event will benefit Metroplex Concerns of Police Survivors, which provides resources to help families of fallen law enforcement officers rebuild their lives.
