Coppell police were notified about a home burglary around 11:25 a.m. on March 26 in the 600 block of Hollow Circle, and two of the suspects have still not been apprehended.

A resident arrived home and surprised two unknown men who were inside. The men gained access into the home by breaking the glass portion of the rear patio door.

After being discovered, the men fled in a black four-door sedan with two other people. A police officer spotted the vehicle, and followed it — while waiting for additional patrol units to assist with the traffic stop — into a neighborhood on E. Bethel Road until it stopped on Glendale Drive.

Once the car stopped, three of the passengers fled on foot, and the driver was taken into custody. Later, another suspect was located and taken into custody in a field at S. Denton Tap Road and Southwestern Boulevard. Despite using a K-9 unit and helicopter, the other two suspects were not found.

Inside the suspect vehicle, property was found that belonged to the victim.
