Coppell residents who enjoy the plays of William Shakespeare are encouraged to attend the city's first-ever Shakespeare in the Plaza event, which will be an all-teen production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, for free at 7 p.m. on Friday at Town Center Plaza.

The event, which is being presented by the Texas Creative Arts Academy, will have a pre-show, and the Shakespeare comedy will begin at 8 p.m.

“We want the entire community to come out, support our youth in live theater, and enjoy an evening under the stars,” said Donna Park, the executive director of the Texas Creative Arts Academy.

Attendees can bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Click here to find out additional information.
