The Coppell Education Foundation is holding its annual RED & BLACK Interactive Institute June 26-30. The summer camp is designed to encourage middle school students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) through interactive, hands-on activities. The Foundation brings in corporate partners from around the DFW Metroplex to engage students with curriculum in their area of expertise. This summer’s partners include: Baylor Scott & White, Coppell Police Department Crime Prevention Team, DTCC, Michaels, 1Hour2Escape, Tech Titans, The Ratliff Group and UT Southwestern.
The camp is for rising 7th and 8th graders and will be held at Lee Elementary from 8:30am to 12:30pm. The costs is $175 per student. For more information and to register go to www.coppellisdef.com.
