The Coppell PD received information indicating a theft suspect, Efrain Michael Hardman, was at a residence in Irving, Texas. Coppell PD detectives believed this suspect committed multiple Oil of Olay thefts in the DFW area.

Coppell PD detectives notified the Irving PD and all officers went to the location. Law enforcement officers made contact with Hardman. He was taken into custody without incident on the Coppell PD felony theft warrant (four theft offenses aggregated into one, State Jail Felony). The four offenses total approximately $20k in loss to the victims.

Hardman then refused to cooperate further with detectives. Hardman was transported to the Dallas County Jail where he was booked into custody.

Multiple other agencies will possibly have additional charges on Hardman regarding similar offenses committed within their jurisdictions. The offenses occurred between the months of December 2011 and June 2012.

Coppell Chief Mac Tristan says this was an offense that created substantial loss to our business community. The arrest was a collaborative effort from the Coppell PD and other law enforcement agencies.
