Victory Place @ Coppell learners participated in the North Texas Teen Book Festival at the Irving Convention Center on Saturday, March 4th. Converging with thousands of book lovers, our learners heard panels of authors sharing their views on how to be an author, life struggles, and teen issues. R. L. Stine of the Goosebump series was the keynote speaker as well as a panelist during several sessions as well as Veronica Roth, author of the Divergent series, Laurie Halse Anderson and several authors whose books are soon to be released as movies.

Learners were able to choose panels of authors to hear and discuss with on themes that related to young adult readers including mental health issues, identity conflicts, African American struggles, and dystopian elements in fiction.
