The Coppell Arts Council is excited to bring sculpture to life in Coppell. The Arts Council, in cooperation with the City of Coppell, has recently installed 11 outdoor sculptures around Old Town Coppell and the Coppell Senior/Community Center. This sculpture exhibition, called the Old Town Art Splash, is another initiative by the Arts Council to make public art accessible to the residents of Coppell.
To celebrate the opening of this first-of-its-kind exhibit in Coppell, the Arts Council is hosting the Old Town Art Stroll.
Date: Saturday, April 8
Time: 6:00-9:00pm
Location: The Art Stroll will begin at the Coppell Senior & Community Center, 345 W. Bethel Road.
Participants will enjoy live music, food and a glass of wine or micro-brew while they stroll around Old Town Coppell and enjoy the sculptures. General Admission and VIP tickets are available for the event and will include:
- Headline musical performance by Mapleshade
- Additional musical performances along the stroll
- Cheese, Fruit and Chocolate
- Microbrew and Wine Sampling
- Opportunities to meet the sculpture artists
- Swag bag of goodies
VIP ticket holders will also receive admission to the VIP pavilion where they can enjoy hors d'oeuvres catered by J Macklin's, as well as entrance into raffles for items donated by local artists and vendors.
