On Saturday, September 8 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., The Parks at Arlington will be buzzing with all things beautiful when Beauty Rocks! returns to the shopping center. With the ultra-successful spring event, even more retailers are joining in the beauty fest to help women discover the newest looks for fall. Big brands in the beauty world will be represented and experts will demonstrate all the newest colors and trends – and it’s all in one place at The Parks at Arlington.
Featured Beauty Rocks! retailers include Bare Escentuals, Bath & Body Works, MAC Cosmetics, Sephora and more. National cosmetic retailers from the center’s department stores will also participate. Further adding to the beauty quotient, stylists from Toni & Guy will be on hand, demonstrating new trends for hair and offering one-on-one consultations.
“Last spring, The Parks at Arlington hosted its first-ever Beauty Rocks! and the response was fantastic. Several hundred guests – from tweens to very savvy fashionistas – attended. For fall, Beauty Rocks! is going to be even more fun.
“We’re adding retailers. We’re adding prizes and giveaways. The beauty lines at the department stores will be participating. There will be experts sharing tricks and tips. New ideas. New colors. It’s going to be another fun afternoon of beauty,” says Debi Martinez, marketing manager for The Parks at Arlington.
Guests at Beauty Rocks! will be able to:

- Discover the new colors in the fall collections
- Receive hands-on makeup instruction from the pros
- Sample fragrances
- Register for prizes
- Take home samples
- Consult with hair stylists
Beauty Rocks! will be held in the open court near Foot Locker. Additionally, representatives from the beauty retailers at the department stores will be in the court near their stores.
