The City of Coppell and the Coppell Police Department are currently on the lookout for a man suspected of a bank robbery that occurred on Monday, August 27 at 10:37 a.m. The robbery took place in the 100 block of South Denton Tap Road.

The suspect is a black male that is six-feet fall, 160-pounds and described as tall and slender. He was wearing a black hat, gray hoodie and light colored pants. He entered the bank and displayed a small, silver handgun and demanded cash. He left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash and fled in a late model silver, four-door sedan. Police are unsure of which direction the suspect fled.

This case is currently under the investigation by the Coppell Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Any resident with information should contact the Coppell Police Department at 972-304-3600 or the local FBI office.
