Everyone is looking forward to the extra day off given by Labor Day, including the city officials of Coppell. All City of Coppell offices will be closed on Monday, September 3 and a few will stay closed the following day on Tuesday, September 4.

All of the following city offices will be closed on Labor Day:

  • All City of Coppell administrative offices
  • Coppell Municipal Court
  • Coppell Animal Services facility
  • Grapevine Spring Senior and Community Center
  • William T. Cozby Public Library

In addition, the library will remain closed on Tuesday for a staff development day. Library materials may still be returned through the outdoor book drop at any time. Residents can use the library's e-branch to check out e-books, request and renew materials and use the library's databases.

Garbage and recycle pick-ups will not be affected by the holiday. The regular collection schedule will still be followed. The Coppell Aquatic Recreation Center will be opened from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. while outdoor pools will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
