Students from Coppell’s Pinkerton Elementary participated in Dallas CASA’s Angel Tree program for the second year, donating money to buy gifts for 20 children living in foster care.

Children and their families at the school donated enough money to not only get gifts for 20 abused or neglected children but also to purchase gift cards for each child to help with any other needs. Gifts were delivered to Dallas CASA the first week in December.

Most children dream of finding special gifts under the tree Christmas morning. For children in protective care, life is so uncertain and full of change they can’t be sure Christmas is coming. Dallas CASA’s Angel Tree program assures that each child with an advocate will have gifts.
