Charlie Brown and the "Peanuts" gang will be coming to Coppell for two weekends this month.

The Texas Creative Arts Academy will be doing six, all-youth performances of the musical You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown from Feb. 10 to Feb. 19, and the first one is at 7 p.m. Feb. 10.

The family-friendly musical was originally produced in New York and is based on Charles Schultz's comic strip "Peanuts." Characters such as Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Peppermint Patty, Snoopy and Woodstock are all featured in the musical.

Tickets to all six performances can be purchased on the Texas Creative Arts Academy website. Here's a list of the show times:

  • 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10
  • 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11
  • 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12
  • 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17
  • 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18
  • 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19

Founded in 2008, the Texas Creative Arts Academy and Theatre is a nonprofit youth arts group that offers year-round classes in the performing arts, which are taught by a professional staff, for children ages six through 18 years old.
