Junior Alex Haas scored the only goal of the game against Jesuit.

The SIMA Fab 50 #4 nationally ranked Cowboys Soccer team finished their preseason play on Tuesday, January 19th with a hard fought 1-0 win over the Jesuit Rangers.  The only goal of the game came in the last two minutes of play when junior Alex Haas's head connected with junior Nick Taylor's corner kick to find the back of the net.  Jerod Longoria was deservedly awarded Player of the Game for his outstanding saves and play in goal.  The JV Cowboys had a big 5-3 win over Jesuit.

The Cowboys, including two scrimmage wins over #2 nationally ranked Plano West and #3 nationally ranked Frisco Wakeland, finished their preseason play with an undefeated 7-0-2 record.  They begin district play on Tuesday, January 26th at L.D. Bell High School.  The Cowboys kick off their home opener on Friday, January 29th with a double header with the Cowgirls Varsity team against rival Southlake at Coppell High School's Buddy Echols Field.  The home opener will be "Fill the Stands Night" for the Cowboys where the first 100 CHS and New Tech students get in free with student ID.  The Cowboys start the night off with their kick off at 5:45 pm.  You won't want to miss this exciting night of some of the best high school soccer in the country!
