The Texas Creative Arts Academy in Coppell is hosting auditions for its upcoming youth musical 101 Dalmatians at 1 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Texas Creative Arts Academy & Theatre.

All youth who are interested in trying out must "prepare 16 bars of a song that showcases vocal ability and range," according to a TCAA news release. Everyone who auditions must also bring an accompaniment CD that does not have any vocals.

Anyone who tries out also has the option to sing the "Happy Birthday" song, and everyone may be asked to read excerpts from the musical's script.
