Living Well in Coppell and the Coppell Parks and Recreation Dept. invite you to help us celebrate the redevelopment of Andy Brown park and the opening of a new segment of trails in Coppell.  A beautiful new pedestrian bridge has recently been constructed across Denton Creek at the east end of Andy Brown Park.  This pedestrian bridge provides a vital new link between the Andy Brown trail system and the levee trail on the north side of Denton Creek.

To celebrate this new addition to the trails system, Living Well in Coppell and the Parks and Rec Department are hosting a "Walk with the Mayor" event on Saturday, February 27, at 11:00am at the Moore Road entrance to Andy Brown East park.  You'll get a chance to experience the new pedestrian bridge as you walk the trail system with Mayor Karen Hunt, City Manager Clay Phillips, City Council members and other City officials.  You'll also hear about the Andy Brown park re-development plans which will result in a landmark park system for years to come.

It's a great opportunity to learn about our new trail and park system, to talk with the Mayor and City officials, and to enjoy a healthy walk in the park.  Come join in the fun and bring your family, friends and co-workers!  Wagons, strollers and small bikes for the kids are also welcome. And remember, due to construction in Andy Brown park, this "Walk with the Mayor" event will start at the Moore Road entrance to Andy Brown East park.
