Coppell, Texas – May 15, 2015 - CHS Football will play its annual Spring Game sponsored by Frost Bank on Thursday, May 28th (5pm JV, 7pm Varsity) at Buddy Echols Field on the CHS campus. The community is invited to attend.
Game admission tickets are $5.00 for adults and students ages 9th grade and older. Dickey’s barbeque meal tickets are $5.00. The barbeque dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and includes a choice of beef or chicken sandwich, two sides and water.
Tickets may be purchased online at www.coppellcowboys.com or at all CISD middle school offices and CHS lunch periods from Monday, May 18 through Tuesday, May 26. Admission and limited food tickets will be available at the gate on game day.
The event will also showcase the award winning CHS Band, Cheerleaders and Lariette Drill Team. The Coppell Youth Football Association 7 on 7 teams will scrimmage between the JV and Varsity games. A bounce house will be on-site for the children as well as a Coppell Fire Department fire truck. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a chance to call the offensive and defensive plays during the second half of the Varsity game.
The Coppell Cowboys football team is under the direction of Mike DeWitt who is entering his second year as Head Football Coach. “As a team we are young, so this spring has been a great opportunity for us to grow and improve in many areas. Our players have been working hard in preparation for the 2015 season,” stated Coach DeWitt.
This will be a fun family event for the entire community and for football fans who are interested in a sneak peek at the Coppell Cowboys Football teams and what’s in store for the 2015 season.
