Maureen Corcoran was recently awarded Rotarian of the Year for 2014-2015 by the Coppell Rotary Club members.   Upon acceptance of the award, Corcoran noted that she “wanted the Coppell Rotary Club to be the service organization to serve the city of Coppell.”  Corcoran, who has been a member of the club for four years, was instrumental in many of the Club’s projects during the 2014-2105 period, including the Back to School Supply Drive, the installation of the 35 foot flag pole and American flag in Old Town Coppell, assistance with the Wilson Elementary garden project and providing creative and organizational leadership on the winning Christmas parade float.  “We are so proud that Maureen has received this award,” noted newly elected Rotarian President, Terry Laughlin, “she is a true Rotarian in every sense of the word.”
