Are you still looking for a special holiday gift for a friend or family member?

The Assistance League of Coppell is currently selling cookbooks that contain a variety of recipes, conversion charts and cooking tips.

The recipes in the book are from active Assistance League of Coppell members and other special contributors. Also, all of the art in book was done by a local resident and member of the league — Shelley Minnis.

But that's not the only thing the organization is selling this holiday season.

A ceramic ornament that depicts Kid Country in Coppell is being sold by the league, which was also designed by Minnis.

The Assistance League of Coppell is comprised of more than 40 volunteers who have the goal of bettering the area by developing programs to meet the needs of the community.
