The staff and teachers at Austin Elementary in Coppell were treated like celebrities during Staff Appreciation Week May 4-8.  Parents and students rolled out the red carpet with catered meals, swag bags full of gift cards donated from area businesses, fan mail deliveries, a walk of fame and cookie breaks.  Homeroom leads were designated "groupies" and made sure every staff member and teacher was treated like a celebrity A-lister.

A catered breakfast by parents including decadent cinnamon rolls donated by Zenzero Bakery started off the week.  Teachers favorite treats and snacks were brought by each class on Tinsel Town Tuesday and an iced tea and cookie break donated by McAllister's Deli in the afternoon.  A catered lunch by Zoës Kitchen delighted the staff on Wednesday and Thursday a swag bag raffle during morning announcements got everyone buzzing.  Each student was encouraged to bring a flower for an assorted bouquet for each teacher to enjoy over the weekend for the final day finale.

The parents and students loved pulling out all the stops for the teachers and staff at Austin Elementary.
