The City of Coppell is excited to announce the grand re-opening of Andrew Brown Park East coinciding with our annual Independence Day activities. The newly renovated park includes multiple community gathering spaces with rentable pavilions for performances and community uses, and passive areas for sitting and enjoying the outdoors with friends and family. Additionally, the new space provides a large area for the community special events that Coppell citizens have enjoyed for years. To kick-off the grand opening of the park, the City will host Celebrate Coppell – Party in the Park, the biggest, grandest Independence Day celebration Coppell has ever seen!

Celebrate Coppell - Party in the Park is Saturday, July 1 at Andrew Brown Park East from 2PM-11PM. Event goers will enjoy a full day of entertainment on two stages. Headlining the main stage is rock ‘N’ roll all-star band, World Classic Rockers. Featuring former members of rock super-groups, Aynsley Dunbar (Journey), Michael Monarch & Nick St. Nicholas (Steppenwolf), Fran Cosmo (Boston), Greg Walker (Santana), and Randall Hall (Lynyrd Skynyrd), the group combines the talents of some of the most prominent musicians to ever grace the stage. Additional entertainment includes a children’s area with an array bounce houses and kid-friendly activities, an arts and crafts marketplace, areas for fun photo opportunities, oversized lawn games, and more! A variety of festival-favorite foods will be available for purchase, including BBQ, corn dogs, funnel cakes, and turkey legs. A spectacular fireworks display choreographed to patriotic music, begins at 9:30PM, and will light up the skies above the park. Closing out the event will be a local party band favorite, Live 5, covering hits from the 80’s, 90’s, and today!

We anticipate the biggest turnout we’ve ever had for the largest event we’ve ever hosted! We encourage you to walk, ride a bike, or carpool to the event. For the most up to date information regarding Celebrate Coppell, visit
