Dallas-based Darling Homes announced Saturday, August 25, 2012 as the grand opening date for the Villas Model Home in Main Street Coppell, the mixed-use development located in the heart of Coppell’s historical downtown district.  The grand opening celebration will feature tours of the new model home along with a live band performance and summertime festivities held at the Farmers Market, from 8 a.m. to noon, located within walking distance of the Darling Homes’ Villa.

Darling Homes is the exclusive homebuilder for this project featuring 44 Villa-styled homes within the development.  The multi-level home designs feature a variety of floor plans ranging from 2,000 to 2,600 square feet inclusive of energy-efficient packages, lifestyle amenities, covered porches and rear-access garages – priced from the low $300s. Elevations are in keeping with the historical look of the development and include Craftsman, Colonial and Texas Prairie architectural styles. The unique home designs have been developed to suit lifestyle needs of the empty nester, busy professional or first-time homebuyer.

“We are excited about our Villas Model Home opening, the festivities planned for the day and all that the overall Main Street Coppell development offers potential homebuyers,” stated Mike Carter, Darling Homes’ vice president of marketing. “There has been a tremendous interest in our Villa product with six Villas already sold, one more nearing completion in September, and four more already under construction. The urban setting is ideal for the Villas product providing the progressive homebuyer the luxury of owning their own home without the maintenance hassles and the ability to live, work and play within walking distance,” he concluded.

The Villas model home is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. For prospective homebuyers interested in pre-sales, call Darling Homes at (866) 905-8657, or visit the new Darling Homes website at
