The City of Coppell will temporarily close Duck Pond Park Playground, located at 400 E. Bethel School Road, on Monday, July 30 and Tuesday, July 31 for scheduled repair work. The playground will be reopened for public use on Wednesday, April 1.

The city will be repairing the rubber surfacing of the playground during those two days. The city is also closing down Kids Country for several months beginning at the end of July until the middle of October. The city will be demolishing the current playground at Kids Country and rebuilding it to ensure safety for all children.
