Overall female winner, Maddie Hulcy

This past Saturday, the Coppell Education Foundation hosted it’s 5th annual Red & Black Run to Fund at Coppell Middle School North.  Over 700 people participated in the 5K and 1-mile Fun Run event.  The overall male winner was Nathan Sims, a senior from Coppell High School with a time of 15:50.4 and the overall female winner was Maddie Hulcy, a sophomore from Coppell High School with a time of 19.31.9.

“Once again, the Red & Black Run to Fund had outstanding participation from the Coppell schools and community.  It is through the generous support of the Foundation’s sponsors and the great community participation in events like the Run to Fund that have allowed us to give over $1 million in grants across all the Coppell ISD schools,” said Kara Dunn, the VP of Fundraising for the Coppell Education Foundation and the Red & Black Run to Fund Chairperson.
