The Fourth of July will be here before you know it, and the City of Coppell is currently accepting applications from local organizations who would like to participate in the annual parade.

Groups who would like to participate in the 2012 Spirit of Coppell Patriotic Parade must submit an application between now and 5 p.m. on June 22 to the city's Parks and Recreation Department.

There is no fee to participate in the parade, but all entries are required to attend a pre-parade meeting at 6 p.m. on June 25 in the Town Center Council Chambers.

On July 4, the parade will begin at 9 a.m. at the corner of Samuel Boulevard and Parkway Boulevard and end at the Town Center. For more information, visit the City of Coppell's website.
