A few members of Chapter IA of Coppell present the P.E.O. STAR scholarship to Emily Klingemann

Emily Klingemann, a senior at Coppell High School, has been presented the prestigious P.E.O. STAR Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Emily was recommended for this scholarship by Chapter IA of Coppell, Texas. Emily will attend the University of Texas at Austin where she has plans to study business beginning this fall. This $2,500 scholarship is based on excellence in leadership extracurricular activities, community service academics and potential for future success. The program is open to young women who are graduating high school seniors at the time of application. A student must be recommended by a P.E.O. chapter, so you will need to email a resume to the P.EO. contact below.  The P.E.O. Sisterhood is an international philanthropic and educational organization which promotes increased educational opportunities for women. P.E.O. has given nearly $190 million in financial assistance to more than 80,000 women. For additional information on the P.E.O.
