On Sunday, November 13th, the Coppell Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (NCL, Inc.) held its first annual Mother-Daughter Tea.  207 members attended the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” themed event at Las Colinas Country Club.

The Tea is a long standing NCL, Inc. tradition which began in 1948.  At that time, the founders of NCL, Inc. decided the Tea would be the signature event to celebrate the art of entertaining, practice the art of etiquette through cultural enrichment and cultivate the art of civility and respect.  Today, chapters around the country continue to celebrate with an annual Tea.

NCL, Inc. is dedicated to its mission of fostering mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences.  NCL, Inc., Coppell Chapter is dedicated to the development of our members as strong community leaders and consistently strive to improve local communities and beyond through hands-on volunteerism.  The NCL, Inc., Coppell Chapter has donated approximately 2,100 hours of service since forming in May of this year.

We are excited to be a part of the special events our philanthropy partners organize during the holidays.  NCL, Inc., Coppell Chapter is assisting with the Cornerstone Christmas Store, Metrocrest Holiday Store toy and food distribution, visiting with residents of Vista Ridge Nursing Center and decorating the facility for Christmas.
