Coppell Women's Club Donates Scholarship Money Board members Jan Wagner-Adkinson, Carol Stiffler, Darlena Aksoy, and Jet Emmons present North Lake College Executive Dean Arthur James with money to fund a scholarship.

The Coppell Women's Club wrapped up their year by making contributions to two separate community organizations.

Executive Board officers presented a gift of $1000 to Ed Guignon, member of the Coppell Parks and Recretation Board, for Kid Country. The club will have their name displayed on the front wall of the new park and their name on two bridges in the Tots Section.

A donation of $500 was given to Arthur James, Executive Dean of North Lake College's North and South campuses. This money is for a scholarship to be awarded to a female resident of Coppell who chooses to attend North Lake College upon graduation from high school.

The club will resume their general meetings on Wednesday, September 5, when they kick off the new year with a coffee. Existing and new members will be able to register for club membership and the fall luncheon on that day.
