Inspired by an early semester field trip to the Perot Museum in downtown Dallas, the Victory Place @ Coppell learners developed their own mini-museum. Creating hands on experiments developed by team groups, the exhibits were made available to Denton Creek Elementary School third grader learners. On Wednesday, September 30th, all parties were prepared and enthusiastic when the third graders arrived at Victory Place @ Coppell.

There was no shortage of interest as the young learners got their hands on six engaging exhibits. In one exhibit, our learners guided third graders through activities on how tornadoes are formed. Each young learner made their own take-home tornado to remind them of the experience.

Another exhibit in geology taught the 3rd graders about the chemical composition of rocks. Learners discovered which stone was associated with their birthmonth and how certain crystals are formed.

Victory Place @ Coppell learners were left with a feeling of satisfaction that they had facilitated an exceptional learning opportunity for younger students.
