Coppell residents can start casting their ballots for the upcoming election during the early voting days, which begin on Monday.

All registered Coppell voters can participate in the early voting period instead of waiting until the actual election day to cast ballots for the city's new municipal officers, including mayor and city council places 2, 4 and 6. There will also be special elections for council places 3 and 7, which people people can vote for at the same time.

Here's a list of early voting times and dates:

• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 30 to May 5 at Coppell Town Center.
• 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 6 at Coppell Town Center.
• 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 7-8 at Coppell Town Center.
