VIVACE! Spring Show May 3-5
“Put a Little Love in your Heart”

VIVACE!, the Coppell High School show choir, will host its spring show on May 3-5 in the Coppell High School Auditorium. The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Libbie Ainsworth, a former VIVACE! captain, who passed away in January.

The theme of this year’s show, “Put a Little Love in Your Heart” is taken from the 1969 hit single by Jackie Deshannon. The show will feature a variety of music, including fun hip hop pieces and music of Chicago, Jackson Five, and Eric Clapton. The choir performed a selection of these songs recently at the Alpine Music Festival in Colorado and earned superior ratings and placed third overall in the festival.

Aubrey Kennedy, junior VIVACE! member, says she “loves the variety of music that will be featured in the show, especially the jazz and hip hop.” According to her, the “show is fun and will be filled with non-stop smiles.”

Show times are Thursday and Friday evenings, May 3-4, at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 5 at 2:00 PM. Tickets will be sold at the door prior to the show, $10/adult and $5/student or senior.
