Elegant dark wood doors with frosted glass open as a hungry and eager customer walks into the building. Pleasant aromas of baked goods and fine wine fill the nose and eyes lock in on the decorative nature. This is none other than French restaurant Bistro M in Coppell, currently being remodeled to fit its new name Gaston’s Grill.
Bistro M is a bistro and bakery that was added to the long chain of food choices in Coppell, and it is not like any of them. It is a French styled restaurant that gives off the aura of being in France. The decorations show evident thought and are well placed throughout the area, from crystal glass containers with candles during the night time to fancy mirrors and French murals on the walls. The paintings on the walls make one feel as if they are in a completely different era, in a time when there were royals.
Right when you walk in, a hostess greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcomed, leading you to your comfortable table. The service is great and it makes you feel pampered, with waiters ranging from high school students to older adults. It is refreshing to have people of all ages working to make sure customers are satisfied as they dine. If friendliness was a characteristic evident in only renowned restaurants, Bistro M would be spot on. One of the owners can always be seen flitting around, checking on families and giving off a positive vibe.
This eatery can be used for multiple outings, from a cozy date night or just simply a family get-together, it is a place for all. Young children can enjoy eating delicious and gourmet french inspired food from the children’s menu, and crowd around the desert bar, peering over the glass. The menu is not lacking in creativity, as there are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On the lunch menu and dinner menu there are vegetarian options along with meat options, giving customers the freedom to have a meal that will satisfy their cravings. The grilled cheese with tomato basil soup is one of the best vegetarian options, as the soup is creamy and filling. The drink section of the menu is every coffee lover’s dream.
With its black title letters being stripped from the building wall above its entrance, Bistro M is taking on its new title of Gaston’s Grill. Look for the newly titled restaurant off of Denton Tap.
