This Thursday night, March 29, as the Coppell Boys Lacrosse team plays Keller Lacrosse, there will be something bigger than just having the boys on the field playing the sport they love.  Thursday night will be Coppell's 2nd "Lace Up with LAX" event, and we wanted to give you some background.
The Lace Up with LAX Organization, in their own words: "Lace Up With LAX is dedicated to defining the legacy of lacrosse players off the field by working to provide children who are homeless a new pair of shoes and in turn, a step to a brighter future. When we first started Lace Up With LAX, our goal was to provide as many new shoes to children who are homeless as possible. The ultimate goal is to help end the cycle of homelessness.”
Keller Lacrosse is excited to be partnering with us at Thursday’s game. All fans are encouraged to bring a new pair or shoes to the game.  All shoes donated will be given to Jonathon’s Place, which is a Dallas Metroplex facility that provides a safe, loving home and promising future for abused and neglected children, teens, and young adults. This facility serves children just like our boys, but who may be in a different situation right now.
Help us spread the word of this opportunity to help these children in need. Please invite your family, friends, church family, co-workers, etc - to join us in trying to help end homelessness in this small way.  Anyone who brings a new pair of shoes gets free admission to the game. We hope all of Coppell will help us show the children at Jonathon’s Place that they aren’t forgotten.
