Come One, Come All to the Coppell ISD Education Foundation Run to Fund on May 11th

Join us for the Coppell ISD Education Foundation (CEF) seventh annual “Run to Fund” community-wide 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, May 11th at Andy Brown Park East located at 260 East Parkway Boulevard in Coppell.  The one-mile Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8 AM and follow a simple path within Andy Brown East.  The timed 5K will start at 8:30 AM and will be on the Coppell Park trails that start at Andy Brown East, head around the north side of Denton Creek (off of Natches Trace) to the bridge that will bring the runners back into the park.  Over 100 medals will be awarded to top participants.

“We are excited to bring back Coppell’s largest 5K and highly attended community-wide event and are elated to be hosting the run for the second year using the beautiful trails and facilities at Andrew Brown Park,” said Jennifer Lantz, CEF Board Member and Run to Fund Race Director.  Race registration is available online at www.coppellisdef.com through May 10th.  Onsite registration will be available on the day of the event as well. There are discounts available for early registration before April 1st and discount pricing for Coppell ISD students, staff, and alumni.  As in years past, $2 from every race entry will be contributed to the Physical Education Department at a Coppell ISD school of the registrant’s choice.

Race packet pickup for registered participants will be at the Coppell Taekwondo Academy at 235 South Denton Tap Road in Coppell on Thursday, May 8th and Friday, May 9th from 12 PM – 7PM and on race day starting at 7 AM at Andy Brown East.

The CEF Run to Fund, coordinated in cooperation with the City of Coppell and supported by CEF corporate sponsors, allows the Foundation to raise money for innovative and transformative teaching grants and other programs which benefit Coppell ISD schools, teachers and students.

We hope to see you at this fun event, the biggest 5K event in Coppell!
