The Texas Rangers have rescheduled the May 29 “rained out” game with the Arizona Diamondbacks for Thursday, August 1 at 6:05 p.m. at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and this will be an abbreviated version of the district’s annual “CISD Night at the Ballpark” event. Coppell ISD Teachers of the Year will be recognized on-field prior to the start of the game, CISD Athletic Director John Crawford will throw out the first pitch, and CHS senior Wesley Szalkowski will perform the national anthem. We regret that the pre-game parade in the outfield (recognizing our good character/citizenship students) was not able to be rescheduled.
