Barefoot in the Park

is ready to run into your heart

Set in the 1960s, Barefoot in the Park, a comedy by Neil Simon, is a love story about newlyweds, Paul and Corie.  Paul (junior Aidan Harris) is a buttoned up attorney and Corie (junior Natalie Weix) is a young free spirit.  These opposites soon learn that wedded bliss takes a lot of work and compromise, especially when Corie’s anxious mom (junior Layne Allen) and their next door neighbor (senior Venki Padala) seem to be setting off fireworks of their own.

Under the direction of Mark Hawkins, Coppell High School promises to help you laugh out loud at this romantic comedy, just in time for the Valentine holiday.

Junior Claire Robinson (Assistant Director) says, “We have all put so much time and effort into this show.  We hope you will enjoy it.”  “This is such a great and  funny show.  I love that we are able to perform it in our small venue theatre, the Black Box at Coppell High School.  It’s such an intimate venue and it will be so fun,” said junior Layne Allen (Mrs. Banks).
