The Coppell HS JV and Varsity Marching Bands had 250 eighth grade band members come out to Saturday’s Band Fest.  The students were paired with HS band members and were able to perform with both bands for several songs, including the Coppell HS Fight song.  It was a great time seeing all the band members performing together and we’re excited to have many of these eighth graders joining the band next year.

The night ended with both JV and Varsity performing their 2018 Marching shows for family and friends.  Both bands compete in the UIL Region 31 Marching Contest on Monday, October 22.  Varsity’s next contest is Saturday, October 27 at the UIL Area B Marching Contest at the Birdville Fine Arts/Athletic Center.  This will be their final contest before heading to San Antonio on Saturday, November 3 for the BOA San Antonio Super Regional Marching Contest.  Good luck to both bands.  Let’s Go Band!
