The Coppell City Council will host a public hearing about the city's crime budget during its bimonthly meeting tomorrow.

The public is welcome to attend the city council meeting and voice opinions and concerns about the proposed 2011-2012 Budget for the Coppell Crime Control and Prevention District, according to the meeting's agenda. There will be a public hearing to approve the budget following the public discussion.

During the meeting, the council will also consider the approval of an ordinance that would allow for the appointment of two alternates to the Keep Coppell Beautiful Board, and Richard Kelley will be recommended to fill an upcoming vacancy on the board.

If you are interested in attending the city council meeting, the regular session will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Town Center, which is located at 255 Parkway Blvd.
