On Tuesday, the Coppell High School boys and girls varsity basketball teams played Keller. Below are brief recaps of both games.
The Cowboys varsity basketball team trounced Keller by a score of 55-37 at Coppell High School.
Coppell ran a balanced offensive attack in the game, which helped the team pull off the big win. Leading scorers for Coppell in the game include Jett Raines with 14 points, Martin Kalev and Simi Socks with 10 points each, Warren Oishi with 8 points and Austin Mankin with 7 points.
The Cowboys now have a 17-5 record for the season and are 3-1 in district games.
The Cowgirls varsity basketball team, which has struggled this season, was unable to overcome Keller, losing the game 36-48 at Coppell High School.
During the game, Codie Baxa scored 11 points and Sarah King scored 10 points for Coppell.
The Cowgirls now have a 6-11 overall record and have gone 2-4 in district games.
