Two Coppell High School Track athletes, seniors Haley Cook and Valerie Osamor, signed National Letters of Intent at a signing breakfast held at the high school on Thursday, March 22, 2012.

Cook, the daughter of Bobby and Kelley Cook, signed with Texas Tech University located in Lubbock, Texas. The Texas Tech Red Raiders are members of the NCAA Division 1 Big 12 Conference.  Cook will compete in the Pole Vault event for Tech.

Osamor, the daughter of Charles and Monica Osamor, signed with Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.  The SFA Ladyjacks are members of the NCAA Division 1 Southland Conference.

“Both Haley and Valerie have had a tremendous impact on the Girls Track program at Coppell High School,” says CHS Girls Head Track Coach Roxanne Farris. “They are great role models in the classroom, as well as on the track. I feel so fortunate to have been able to coach them, and I’m excited to see what they will accomplish in their collegiate track careers.”
