Even though it’s summer, at the Coppell Chamber, we’re already thinking about the fall -- and putting together a great lineup of events that will appeal to everyone.
First up is our Pinslayers Bowling Tournament. This event will be fun for all levels, with prizes for highest individual and team score, best-dressed and team spirit. Teams of four are $250, and each bowler will enjoy two hours of bowling, food, a drink ticket and game card. It all happens Friday afternoon, Aug. 23, at Pinstack in Irving.
Then comes our “speed networking” event, Mega Market. Attendees make their pitch to new prospective customer every 90 seconds. The event will be 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at ProSource of Coppell. Registration is $30 for Chamber members, $35 for non-members. Presenting Sponsor is Trinity Title of Texas.
Our 26th Annual Golf Classic is Monday morning, Oct. 14, at Hackberry Creek Country Club. It’s a great event, with competition and prizes for men and women. Registration is just $600 for a foursome, $175 for individuals, with numerous sponsorship opportunities. We thank our Presenting Sponsors, PPG Paints and Right Choice Painting & Construction.
And just a little farther down the road is the highlight of the fall, our 10th Annual Taste of Coppell. For one low admission price, guests will enjoy unlimited food and beverage tastings from some of our community’s finest establishments. More than 500 people attended last year’s event, and the vendor lineup included restaurants, bakeries, breweries and wineries.
Taste is 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Four Points by Sheraton DFW Airport North. Vendor booths are just $50 for Chamber members, $100 for non-members. Adult tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door, kids 12 and under are $10 and $15 at the door. Groups of 10 or more can purchase advance tickets for $20 each, or $25 at the door. Our Presenting Sponsor is Frost Bank, and the Tasting Glass Sponsor is Zenzero.
