Janet Marzett, a senior executive with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS), will discuss the value of workplace diversity at the Coppell Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Cozby Library.
Marzett is the vice president of Regional Operations for MBFS, the financial services company of Daimler AG. “Diversity and inclusion is not only the right thing to do,” she explained, “it’s also the smart thing to do.”
Marzett is the highest-ranking African American in Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, responsible for approximately 700 people in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Throughout her 39-year career, she has made workplace diversity and inclusion a priority. In 2015, she was presented with an Executive of the Year award, and in 2016, she was named one of Savoy Magazine’s “Top Influential Women in Corporate America.”
