Warm-hearted, irreverent, zany and brilliantly imaginative, the play teems with humanity and humor as it examines the plight of three young Mississippi sisters betrayed by their passions. The three MaGrath sisters are back together in their hometown of Hazelhurst, Mississippi for the first time in a decade. Under the scorching heat of the Mississippi sun, past resentments bubble to the surface and each sister must come to terms with the consequences of her own “crimes of the heart.”

Audition Details

• Auditions will include readings from the script (sides will be available at the audition)
• Rehearsals will begin Monday, January 15th and are generally held on weeknights (Mon. Tues. Thurs. Fri.) from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, and Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm – 5:00pm
• Those auditioning should be prepared to list all conflicts or potential conflicts and availability for the rehearsal period as specified in the Audition notice.
• Detailed Rehearsal schedules will be made available upon the completion of casting
• TECH/DRESS REHEARSAL WEEK: Feb 18, 19, 20, 22
• NO CONFLICTS ACCEPTED DURING Performance dates: Feb 23, 24, 25, Mar 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 (Friday & Saturday evenings @ 8pm & Sunday matinees @ 2:30pm)

Rehearsals will be held at the Coppell Arts Center | 505 Travis Street, Coppell, TX 75019

All roles are available.
