As a scout parent myself I feel very proud and excited to share our troop's achievements this summer.

Over 37 scouts and 16 adults attended Medicine Mountain at South Dakota participating in high Adventure activities and earning numerous Merit Badges ,Some Scouts attended Out Island adventures at sea base Florida, while others attended camp Constantine at Echo Valley and many scouts participated at Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America’s premier High Adventure™ base, challenges Scouts and Venturers with more than 214 square miles of rugged northern New Mexico wilderness. Backpacking treks, horseback cavalcades, and training and service programs offer young people many ways to experience this legendary country.

Troop 840 is a vibrant and diverse troop where a scout can thrive and learn all while having fun. Troop 840 is active throughout the year and we have camps monthly.

Make friends, learn new skills, earn merit badges, serve the community and more all of which really teaches our scouts gratitude, respect and be independent.
